Spent today catching up on work (more remains to do there, which is why you haven’t heard from me lately), and now I’m baking cookies with the younger kid. Well, we mixed the dough together, at least. I’m in charge of keeping track of them in the oven.

Cleaning out the basement in anticipation of carpet and paint work. The basement includes my home office, with a lot more than when I moved my office home five years ago.

The new year has begun with hours of house cleaning. We’re clearing out most of the basement in anticipation of re-carpeting and painting it. Also, for the first time in many years, the workbench in the garage is clear enough that one could consider working on something there.
